Website and Data Policy

This is a website for a live action roleplay player event, which is a weekend away in the Lake District with friends but with extra steps. It's built in Google Sites. It'll use cookies for basic analytics and various usage stats, although nobody with access to these actually cares enough about them to really look at them.

If you fill out an Expression of Interest form, your email address will be used to contact you with an invitation to make a booking, when booking goes live.

If you make a booking to attend the event, your email address and any other personal information you give will be used to process your booking and keep in touch with event details.

All information provided will be made available to all the event organisers, although realistically not all of us are going to read it in much detail.

Your information will be held in possibly all of the following places: a google form, the organisers email accounts, cloud storage and organisers personal local devices.

​Your data will be used to:

• Process your event booking

• Contact you if there are any difficulties

• Sort out whatever dietary requirements you need sorting

• Arrange any accessibility things you need

There will be a list of attendees circulated around all players who have successfully booked, using your In-Character name and possibly also your out-of-character name (or the name you generally are known by).

Your data may be shared with the event venue and our insurers (LRP Alliance) if we need to tell them about any first aid incidents or emergencies. We'll make it clear if that needs to happen.
